About Judith

As a documentation specialist at Hewlett-Packard from 1982 to 1991, Judith Cope created award-winning user guides and manuals. She began editing fiction and nonfiction in 1991. With over fifteen years' experience editing, she views the process as a means of enhancing and clarifying the writer's work while staying true to the writer's voice, meaning, and intent.

Judith brings a rich experiential and educational background to her work. She holds a B.A. in History from Wells College in Aurora, NY, a Master's in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master's in Holistic Psychology from the University for Humanistic Studies in San Diego.

When not in the office, Judith enjoys competitive rowing.  She is an avid racer in regattas and enjoys imparting her love of the sport to adult and teenage novices.
